So, now we know that the damage is quite extencive. All the floors needs to be rehabilitated, and all the parquet must be exchangd. In addition also the moulding has to be exchanged and painted. So we have two-three months of construction work in front of us.
Thank god we have a good insurance cover! They have been really helpful.
I do beleive that after the work is done, the appartement will be in even better shape than it is today, and we will have a new parquet! So something positive will come out of it after all…
